Loanfinder UK Supported Charities
Giving something back to the community we live and work in, is something every company should get involved with. That’s why we actively support Julia’s House Hospice for terminally ill children, The Youth Cancer Trust, and the Variety Club Children’s Charity, all of which are located here in Bournemouth.
These organisations do fantastic work to help children and their families, but accessing funding to keep going is a constant challenge. We help by raising funds and volunteering, and are very proud to be associated with these groups, who continue to help so many young people.
Julia’s House - Children’s Hospice

Loanfinder support Julia’s House, a local children’s Hospice which aims to improve the quality of life of terminally ill children. Read about their recent money raising challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro on
Loanfinder UK Review - Kilimanjaro.
Loanfinder employees can signup for a salary sacrifice scheme where they can set aside £1 for Julia’s House, government gift aid is added and then
Loanfinder UK match the contribution topping it up to £3 per week per employee. This endeavour by kind Loanfinder staff and management pays for a full time nurse to visit families in their home.
Loan finder clients during debit card authorisation are asked to donate the test payment of 49p to Julia’s House rather than have it refunded. This innovative idea has an 80% success rate with customers happy to donate the money to a very worthwhile cause and shows the teams innovative thinking.
These two schemes and other one off special events have raised over £200,000 making Loanfinder and its customers the largest supporter of Juila’s House and providing around 20% of their overall funding.
Variety Club - Show on the Pier
Loanfinder management and staff provided support and helped with this event as well as supplying party bags to 500 Special Needs and underprivileged children from a cross Bournemouth and the South West.
Youth Cancer Trust Holidays

This charity provides holiday respite in Bournemouth for young people suffering with cancer, boosting confidence and bringing some fun back into their lives via a stress-free time.
Loanfinder staff help YCT regularly through our volunteer scheme which involves taking a day off and helping out at YCT.
We also enthusiastically support charity events such as Red Nose Day and Children in Need. Other community work is supported and we encourage staff to volunteer by covering their costs.
Dorset Death Children's Society
Loanfinder regularly raises money for the Dorset Deaf Children's Society who provide activities for other deaf children in Dorset and their families to meet each other and take part in fun events.
